B’ESTFEST 2009
By admin | June 13th, 2009 | Category: Concerts & Live Music, Festivals, Romania | No Comments »After over 100.000 people enjoyed its first two editions, BESTFEST is getting ready this summer for its third episode: offered by Romtelecom and powered by Alto and Dacia, B’ESTFEST will take place during July 1st-5th, on Romexpo grounds open-air.
A total area of over 30.000 square meters, 2 stages and one arena, 200 meters of bars, 5 restaurants, 30 hours of music and artists coming from 11 countries will be the guests for the almost 70.000 people expected to join this year’s B’ESTFEST’s edition.
B’ESTFEST set up an extraordinary line-up for this summer – amongst which The Killers, Moby, Motorhead, Franz Ferdinand, Orbital, Santana, Manowar – a total of over 30 artists who will be performing on B’ESTFEST stages over the five festival days. On July 1st, the festival will begin with this year’s edition’s first newness – Day Zero – a short preview of the festival, that will have as headliners the most renowned artist at this moment – The Killers! The program will continue with the three festival days, that besides incredible shows, it will also offer to the public a genuine festival experience, through ”extra goodies”, such as Dukes Box, Poles Apart or Miniscule of Sound, aside the famous Silent Disco parties!
The final day of the festival is also set in 2009 for the rock music fans, whom will be offered an openhanded portion of heavy-metal directly from its origins – the legendary band Manowar will be the headliner at B’ESTFEST AFTERSHOCK!
